THE PLANT OWNED OF 2.500 SQM
A LONG ROUTE
Agritex was born in 1966 in a small structure with three employees in Costalunga. Its founder and current owner Cav. Ruffo Renzo has always worked as a weaver accompanied by a great passion for work. The company is linked to its territory and its people, a particularly industrious community that has contributed to the development of numerous entrepreneurial activities in these areas.
At the beginning the production was mainly dedicated to the processing of multi-filament rayon covered with PVC, for the production of bags that were worn over the shoulder, products in use at the time and used above all by women for shopping. material in production: single filament polyethylene worked in braid. With this material and with the braiding machines the company produced fishing nets, then in the seventies, with the acquisition of flat frames, it began to produce anti-hail nets, mosquito nets and nets for food packaging.
In 1980 Cav. Ruffo, animated by a remarkable entrepreneurial spirit, decides to revolutionize the production model and after having acquired a new warehouse in Costalunga, installs the first of a series of Karl Mayer Raschel looms into production.
On the strength of various experiences and supported by new technologies, Agritex grew at a particularly rapid pace at the time. To meet the growing demands of the market, the production of nets for the garden sector, for shading and for the construction sector begins. In 2004 the company obtained the UNI EN ISO 9001: 2000 certification for the design, production and marketing of nets for agricultural, garden and building use.
The current plant of 2,500 square meters owned, served by a large yard area, has a size that allows the company to acquire even large orders without problems. The company has further expanded production and, despite the notoriously economic period, continues to grow and invest to meet customer expectations.
